Astroturf 2000 Ikoyi, ASNL & Aderoju Ademoroti

Aderoju Ademoroti is the CEO of Astro Soccer Nigeria Ltd. (ASNL), a company that develops sports infrastructure, hosts and facilitates high caliber football experiences for a variety of companies, groups, and organizations. And, while ASNL has built up an impressive clientele list, and hosted some incredibly successful events, one of their biggest successes took place a mere one year after the company began in 2005.

Aderoju Ademoroti has been instrumental as the company’s CEO since 2005.  So, it makes sense that Astro Soccer Nigeria Ltd. hit the ground running with a mover-shaker like Ademoroti behind the wheel. In 2006, Aderoju Ademoroti built the first artificial playing surface for football in Nigeria, Astroturf 2000 Ikoyi. The sports complex is designed for five-a-side football.

However, Astroturf 2000 Ikoyi isn’t just impressive because it’s the first of its kind.  It’s well known throughout West Africa for being a first-class sports facility.  Astroturf 2000 Ikoyi features seating for 850 spectators, and also has a stylish lounge area that can hold up to 150 corporate guests.

Furthermore, Aderoju Ademoroti was disciplined in being sure Astroturf 2000 Ikoyi would meet all FIFA standards while it was being built.  Also, it features 5th generation turf, one of the best artificial turf systems available on the market today.  Aderoju Ademoroti is also proud of the fact that his impressive football facilities are completely backed by private funding.

Astroturf 2000 Ikoyi has drawn in a tremendous amount of business for Astro Soccer Nigeria Ltd. over the last six years.  The site has been home to numerous corporate, NGO, and non-profit events that have helped promote unity, team building, and networking efforts in Nigeria. Aderoju Ademoroti hopes that the success his company has seen with Astroturf 2000 Ikoyi will enable them to open up more world-class facilities throughout Nigeria and other parts of West Africa.

Aderoju Ademoroti, President of OMP, Donates N1m

Those who know Aderoju Ademoroti know that he’s involved in a variety of business-related ventures.  The successful businessman and entrepreneur graduated from the University of London in 1997, but that doesn’t mean he ended his educational experiences there. Aderoju Ademoroti returned to school – this time in his home country of Nigeria – at the Lagos Business School.  He graduated from the Lagos Business School in 2010, but has continued to stay involved ever since.

In 2010, Aderoju Ademoroti became the President of the Owners Managers Programme (OMP 13) Class of the Lagos Business School.  His role as President is multifaceted, and demands a great deal of energy that he has been willing to sacrifice.

However, the hard work paid off, and one of Ademoroti’s proudest moments came along this year (2011) when he was able to donate one million Naira to the Lagos Business School endowment fund on behalf of his class. Aderoju Ademoroti made this donation to the Director of Alumni Relations, Henry Onukwuba at the Victoria Island campus.

Ademoroti’s Vice President, Muyiwa Adekeye, witnessed the donation, and was also present as Aderoju Ademoroti swore in his allegiance to the alumna of the Lagos Business School.  The importance of a good business school education has always been tremendously important to Aderoju Ademoroti.

After receiving a first-class education at the Lagos Business School, Aderoju Ademoroti felt like taking on this role as President of the Owner Managers Programme was the least he could do to reciprocate.  Though this class donation of one million Naira marks his most significant action as President, Aderoju Ademoroti hopes to have many more successes serving the alumna of Lagos Business School.

Aderoju Ademoroti cherishes any opportunity to give back to those organizations and institutions that have helped him along the way.  He hopes that he will continue to be able to do so for years to come.

Aderoju Ademoroti & ASNL Host World-Class Events

Aderoju Ademoroti has never done anything average in his life, and he doesn’t intend to begin now.  The CEO of Astro Soccer Nigeria Ltd. (ASNL), Aderoju Ademoroti, is known for developing sports infrastructure, hosting world-class events for corporations, NGOs, non-profits, and other groups at his impressive facilities in Lagos, Astroturf 2000 Ikoyi.

If you were to ask Aderoju Ademoroti about which events stand out in memory as being some of the most exciting, you’d be hard pressed to get a straight answer. Aderoju Ademoroti feels that every event he hosts at Astroturf 2000 Ikoyi is special.  After all, Astro Soccer Nigeria Ltd. focuses on delivering quality experiences through football games that translate into something greater with a bigger focus.

It might be a team building exercise for a corporation, or a fundraiser for a non-profit.  Whatever the event is, Aderoju Ademoroti puts all of his effort into making it the very best experience for everyone involved.  Here are a few recent events that stand out in memory for ASNL…

In 2009, Astro Soccer Nigeria Ltd. signed a partnership agreement with Unicef.  The partnership has resulted in numerous football games between Lagos corporations that raise money for children in Nigeria.

Also, Aderoju Ademoroti is proud of hosting an annual team-building event for PZ Cussons Nigeria.  The event, which took place in 2012, focused on leadership and communication for the employees of PZ Cussons Nigeria.  As a businessman and sports enthusiast, Aderoju Ademoroti sees these opportunities as especially valuable.

Aderoju Ademoroti looks forward to hosting many more world-class events in the years to come as CEO of Astro Soccer Nigeria Ltd.
